V&A inspired, John Lewis designed. Our designers have produced a series of unique decorative pieces, capturing the creative spirit of the Victoria and Albert Museum. This lamp's crystal dome references the visual details, form and materials of the original Crystal Palace. Named after Sir Joseph Paxton, the architect who designed the Crystal Palace for the world's first trade fair, the Great Exhibition. The profits from the 1851 exhibition helped fund the creation of the V&A. The dome is mirrored smoked glass, the base wood. Fully dimmable.
