This château in Pauillac is located near to Château Lynch-Bages and since 1978 has been used as their second label. Haut-Bages Averous 'blooms' earlier than it's older sibling which allows drinking enjoyment earlier. Dark in colour with a classic Pauillac nose of cassis, plums and cigar box. A plump, rich, textured wine with ripe blackcurrant; savoury and rich with an elegant structure. A seductive, spicy finish.
