De Sales is Pomerol's largest vineyard, and produces this well-rounded, approachable and early-maturing wine. With a medium weight on the palate, the wine has plenty of savoury-sweet fruit and well-polished tannins, accompanied by aromas of caramel and earth. The 2005 vintage is drinking well now.
