Vines at Langoa-Barton are generally around 35 years of age.nWines are made here in a traditional way (in the same winery that makes Léoville-Barton’s wines) all overseen by current owner Anthony Barton and his daughter Lillian. Full fermentation is carried out in large wooden vats before the wine is transferred to barriques (around 50% new oak each year) to mature for around 20 months.nChâteau Langoa Barton 2014 is a wonderfully supple wine, fruitful and elegant, with great structure and a bold cassis character.
