The Amplicomm BigTel 480 Amplified Telephone with Answering Machine is an excellent value set comprising of one amplified desk telephone and one amplified cordless telephone with an integrated answering machine. There is has an amplified receiver volume on both telephones of up to 30db (approximately 3 to 4 times louder than a standard telephone). This means that the voice you hear at the other end of the line will be 3 to 4 times the volume that you normally hear, making it far easier to have a conversation, especially if you are hard of hearing or struggle to pick up on every word. If you are still having trouble, you will find the phones are hearing aid compatible. The BigTel 480 phones also have an amplified ringing volume, ensuring that you will never miss a call again. The maximum ringing volume is about 4 times as loud as a standard telephone. The volume can be fully adjusted to a comfortable level. With extra bright digital display you will be able to see numbers clearly, and if you activate caller ID with your local service provider, you will also be able to see who's calling.
