According to popular belief, keeping a horse chestnut in your pocket is supposed to ward off colds. Lorenza Bozzoli and Gabriele Chiave were inspired by this belief in their design of an original Pill box shaped like a horse chestnut. In their project, the rounded part of the nut becomes the part that holds the pills. The flat part becomes a lid that rotates on a little pivot, allowing the box to be closed with just one hand. Included in the Objets-Bijoux collection, Chestnut is made from stainless steel and has a black inner lining in thermoplastic resin, suitable for contact with pills.
