The design of the new Hamilton Jazzmaster Open Heart turns timekeeping into something of a tease. A glance at the face of the watch reveals part of the Swiss automatic movement in action- but not all of it. The strap is crafted from croco-embossed calf skin leather with elegant stitching, while the 40mm case is finished with a handsome fixed stainless steel bezel. Housed beneath scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass, the dial features rose gold toned hands stick markers, with Roman numerals marking the 3, 6, 9 and 12 positions. A skeleton case back reveals even more of the exceptional Swiss made automatic movement, while a water resistance of up to 50m means that this watch is as practical as it is beautiful. Some things can be left to the imagination- especially when they are clothed in sumptuous quality materials and fine design detail.
