In a cool grey and black, the Alpina Pilot Sunstar charms with its useful combination of functionality and simplicity. On the grey dial, large white numbers mark out the hours, with an applied minutes ring on the outside. At the 3 o'clock position, a date window provides a useful calendar function, easily adjusted by the screw-in crown on the side. Crafted from stainless steel, the dial is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The watch is automatic, powered by the wearer's movement, and has a power reserve of 38 hours. Additionally, the watch is water-resistant to 100 metres. With a screw-in transparent case back on the underside, the watch comes with a genuine leather strap, secured by a traditional buckle.
