A limited edition recreation of the original 1950s classic, these Red Wing Irish Setter work boots have been crafted on vintage machines using traditional methods for an authentic finish. Dyed with original tanning methods for the distinctive “Gold Russet” colour that first gave the boot its hunting dog name, the smooth leather upper is complemented by genuine leather laces and the same mahogany and sage thread of the original. The moc toe is finished with a distinctive rectangular bar-tack stitch, while the top band is double-stitched and the backstay chain-stitch is once again done on the antique Puritan Stitch machine, which has its origins in the 1890s. Complete with the “Red Wing” name embossed on the inside quarter of the boot, the size and width are heat-embossed on the gusset as in the classic design, and the traditional woven “Irish Setter” label sits inside the tongue. Delivered in a box that features the original logo and text from the 1950s, these iconic boots are not only highly collectible, but also sure to stand the test of time.
