Designed for an extended life, it has soft and gentle micro-pocket springs on one side of the mattress for your baby, and firmer larger pocket springs on the other side for when your child grows. Each is designed to give maximum comfort and correct spinal support, improving the comfort of your child and extending the life of the cot mattress. This mattress has a three dimensional fabric on one side which promotes air circulation and assists breathability. It also draws fluid away. With the John Lewis Spring mattresses we include an extra Innercare cover. The inner cover makes removing and replacing the outer cover quick and simple and can be used when the outer cover is in the wash. So in the middle of the night when you and your baby want to get back to sleep after a night time accident, the inner cover provides a suitable water-resistant surface if the outer cover has had to be removed. The dual purpose springs are encased in some of the highest density foam in the industry. This dent-resistant orthopaedic foam ensures the mattress stays more comfortable for longer.
