Sensors made for movement Using a Pyroelectric infrared sensor which detects heat, intruders will be identified and alarm sirens or cameras (sold separately) will potentially be activated. The sensors can even be used to deploy home automation effects. For example, a sensor on the stairs could switch on a light connected to a Smart plug. The sensitivity can be adjusted too so it's not accidentally triggered. Long range Each component of the system can work up to a maximum range of 300 metres. Communicating with each other via the Smart Home Hub, the cameras, sensors and plugs can be easily placed throughout the home or garden. Wireless communication Using a DECT Ultra low Energy (ULE) wireless standard, the Panasonic Smart Home devices will be able to communicate with each other. This makes it super safe because it is invisible to regular consumer products. And it offers a stable, interference free, superior range. Easy to use The entire Panasonic Smart Home system can be controlled from your smartphone or tablet using the intuitive Smart Home app. Simply download (for free) to your iOS or Android device and enjoy full control. From watching live feeds from your cameras and switching lights on or off, the app handles everything. Easy to setup Working wirelessly, the Smart Home system is easy to set up; connect the Hub to your network, download the control app and pair up the Panasonic siren to the hub. Even pairing is simple. With 'One-Push' pairing you can just press one button on each device and one button the hub. Devices can also be registered via the app on the Smart devices.
