Warmup insulation boards have a key role to play in maximising the efficiency of underfloor heating. Insulation is not only needed to comply with Building Regulations but improves efficiency, increases responsiveness of the heating system and ensures that any heat generated is not lost. Insulation boards are water resistant, insulated tile backer board made of extruded polystyrene, faced on both sides with a fibreglass mesh embedded into a thin cement polymer mortar.The insulation boards have a high thermal insulation property for energy efficiency and an added benefit of sound proofing. They can be used on walls or floors and are ideal for applications such as dry lining, insulating and waterproofing in areas such as wetrooms, bathrooms and kitchens.
