Futuristic and faceted, Cut is an exercise in optics and is the latest adventure in Tom Dixon's endless fascination with reflectivity, luminosity and transparency. Its space-age mirror finish, when switched off, transforms to reveal a translucent, kaleidoscopic gem when switched on. Hypnotising reflections of the luminous orb within, repeat infinitely within the diamond cut, vacuum metallised interior and can be used in clusters for maximum effect. Tom Dixon was established in 2002 by world renowned designers Tom Dixon and David Begg to design and manufacture a wide range of contemporary lighting and furniture inspired by the unique heritage, innovation, and robust, no-nonsense engineering of British industry.
