This stunning framed print shows a railway viaduct on the West Highland Line in Glen Finnan, Inverness-shire, Scotland. Located at the top of Loch Shiel in the West Highlands of Scotland, the viaduct overlooks the Glen Finnan Monument and the waters of Loch Shiel. Matt grew up in the Welsh countryside and has always loved the outdoors. Growing up, he worked for his father's construction company which took him all over the UK. Matt's love of landscape led him to pursue a bachelors degree in Photography in Newcastle, where he learned the technical aspects of his art. He now travels around the UK, to find beauty in the landscape around him, and capture it for the world to see. Matthew has two side to is approach to his art form and one is Landscape in its true form, capturing the light and beauty as he sees it. He believes an honest portrayal is important when your goal is to make the viewer jump out of their seat and travel to the place of capture. Matt also has a love for art and expression and loves to take steps away from reality with various processes & techniques and create more abstract images to provoke thought and emotion from the viewer.
