David Booth's classic underground poster from 1986, depicting the London tube map in oil paint. David Booth is a hugely successful commercial designer. He has worked on numerous award winning advertising campaigns for Vodafone, Carlsberg, Royal Mail, Coca-Cola, BT, Nestle, Typhoo, Fosters, Boots, NatWest, Shell, the BBC and London Transport. In 1986 Booth joined The Fine White Line agency. In 1990, he became a Senior Designer at Lewis Moberly and then at Imagination. He worked for a short time as Head of Art at TBP/McCann, and then at Coley Porter Bell as Assistant Creative Director. In 1997, Booth became Group Creative Director at Billington Cartmell, an integrated marketing communications consultancy. Since 2005, Booth has worked as an independent design consultant.
