It is always amazing what nature can come up with. An animal like the Giraffe would be a tale of fiction if it wasn't for the fact that it is real. Such wonderful shape and colouring was a gift for the designers at De Rosa. After skilful sculpting and detailed carving the piece takles on its final shape. After firing the ceramic body it is hand painted and fired again. The final touches of gold are added and the piece is fired for the last time. So much hand work goes into these pieces, work which Jorge De Rosa and his team are hugely proud of.
