Recipe: New York Sour Ingredients 40ml American whiskey 10ml red wine 2 dashes bitters 20ml fresh lemon juice 10ml sugar syrup Garnish Twist of lemon peel 2 cherries Method Add all of the ingredients apart from the red wine into a cocktail shaker, fill with ice and shake hard for 15 seconds. Strain over fresh ice cubes into a double old fashioned glass, and then slowly add 10ml of red wine over the top. Garnish with the lemon peel twist and two cherries on a toothpick.
