The 1964 vintage was rated as excellent and it shows with this wine still being delicious at 51 years old. Every bit as good as an aged Bordeaux or Burgundy dried fruit flavours especially cherry and rose petal appear on the nose and palate. The long finish is all about spice with anise, pepper and cumin notes.
