They have 20 hectares of vines in 40 small parcels on the left side of the river Ebro in Rioja’s San Vicente de la Sonsierra district. With each parcel planted in different soils and with different aspects – some on the hillside and some on the banks of the river – the winemakers have a wealth of fruit to choose from to create wines with excellent regional expression. Each plot of vines is tended independently and all grapes are harvested manually, with the grapes for this wine picked from very mature vines.
