Case includes: Product information: De Martino Limavida, Vintage:2011, Vibrant on the nose, with black cherry and cedar aromas over a rich palate balancing sumptuous fruit and freshening acidity., About this bottle:Known as a ‘field blend’, this rich Chilean red is an unusual wine. Field blends comes from a time when vineyards where planted with multiple grape varieties. The grapes are harvested according to ripeness, then vinified together. Alongside Chile’s modern wine industry, however, it is also blessed with some very old, unirrigated vineyards. De Martino’s winemakers Marcelo Retamal and Eduardo Jordan sourced the grapes for this wine from an historic site in the Maule valley, first planted in 1945 and subsequently dry-farmed. Selecting from the old, ungrafted vines – mostly Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Carmenére – the grapes were fermented together with natural yeasts to give a very pure expression of the fruit. The wine was then aged for two years in large oak barrels to evolve it ready for bottling., Grape variety: Field Blend - Malbec, Country of origin:Chile, Region:Maule Valley, More information: Bottle size:750 ml, Alcohol content:13.5 %, Alcohol units per bottle:10.1, Alcohol units per serving:1.7, Serving Size:125 ml, Allergens:Sulphites, Stopper type:Cork, Bottling address: Manuel Rodriguez 229 - Isla de Maipo, Santiago, Chile
