Case includes: Product information: Les Pelerins de Lafon Rochet, Vintage:2010, Classic claret aromas of blackcurrants and cigar box lead to a balanced palate of ripe dark fruits, smooth oak and silky tannins., About this bottle:Château Lafon-Rochet, dating back to the 17th century, was ranked as a 4th Growth in the Official Classification of Bordeaux Wines in 1855. The château is in Saint-Estephe, home to five of the classified growth wines. Château Lafon-Rochet is currently owned by the Tesseron family, who also own the famous Château Pontet-Canet. The soils have the usual mix of gravel, sand and clay, although the level of clay here tends to be higher than in the rest of Bordeaux. Third generation winemaker Basile Tesseron blended equal amounts of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot for this wine.
