The Miele DA3596 cooker hood is a stylish slimline, 90cm-wide canopy in sleek stainless steel. It has low noise output, is a low-maintenance, Wi-Fi enabled hood with an A+ energy rating. Automatic It can be operated automatically or manually to remove all types of cooking vapours and dramatically reduce cooking odours. Automatic fan run-on ensures full extraction of steam and odours that linger in the air after cooking. The canopy can be set to switch off automatically after either five or 15 minutes. Quiet power Multiple fan settings, including a booster mode, offer extraction rates from 200-640 m³ and even at the intensive setting, the hood rates an impressively low 51dB sound level. Filtration The canopy has two stainless steel grease filters which can be easily removed and cleaned in a dishwasher. Their high efficiency earns the hood an A grease filter rating. An indicator illuminates when the filters need washing. Connectivity This hood has Wi-Fi connectivity giving wireless hood-to-hob communication. The hood's air extraction rate is automatically adjusted to respond to hob settings. The higher the hob heat output, the greater the air extractor works. Energy rating With low-energy LED downlights, the Miele DA3596 hood achieves a A+ rating for energy efficiency. Installation If venting externally, the canopy will need ducting, which is offered in a separate Miele kit. If the canopy is to be used in recirculation mode, Miele carbon filters are required.
