A brand new and exciting timepiece straight from Baselworld, this TAG Heuer Autavia automatic men's watch has been inspired by the original Autavia Ref. 2446 Mark 3 that was first designed in 1966 and was voted for by over 50,000 TAG Heuer fans to be the inspiration for the 2017 Autavia rebirth. This modern classic is presented on a stainless steel 7 row bracelet with a polished finish and features a 42mm stainless steel case with an aluminium black polished 12 hour scale bidirectional turning bezel. Domed sapphire crystal protects the black dial that features a 60 second minute scale around the watches flange, three chronograph sub dials, rhodium plated and polished baton hour markers and hands with Superluminova, an angled date window at 6 o'clock and a white Heuer printed logo at 12 o'clock. Water resistant to 100m, this watch is powered by an automatic movement with a 75 hour power reserve and the new Heuer-02 calibre. The original model was known as the 'Rindt' after Formula 1 driver Jochen Rindt often wore the watch while racing. This watch reflects the original model beautifully with contemporary updates and a bigger and bolder case.
