These stud earrings feature a 8mm Turquoise ball with a 9ct yellow gold post and butterfly fastening. Turquoise the December birthstone, of dazzling greenish blue is composed of copper, aluminium and iron and was thought to offer powerful protection against 'the evil eye.' Known also as the 'Lover's Stone' it can be given to pledge fidelity. This item has been designed and made within our workshops in Ashbourne and there are matching items available within the collection.
