Eight times warmer than regular wool, our cashmere uses a super fine micron of 14.5, at least 6 times finer than a human hair, with a unique spinning specification tailored to John Lewis. Using the traditional method of mule spinning, which allows the yarn to twist finer, we achieve a softer and more rounded yarn. This method, and the long staple fibre we use, reduces the level of pilling and bobbling that can occur with inferior fibres and makes all of our cashmere machine washable.
